Kia ora, hello.....
KIA ORA
My name is Tia Healey-Jellick I am of mixed ancestry - maori, dalmatian, english, scottish, welsh, german, irish and hawaiian I bring many threads from my different heritages into my mahi (work) I grew up in the Kaitaia area, in the Far North of New Zealand, surrounded by native bush. The forest was my solace, my friend and my healer and I have always been passionate about Aotearoa and her native plants. What started as a passion and a hobby making herbal balms soon turned into a unique business called Native Healing Herbals. As well as making native healing balms and creams I also run workshops to adults and school groups - on how to make balms, using nature for balance and wellness, connecting to plants, homeotherapy, natural health remedies and alternatives. I am deeply convinced of our bodies innate ability to heal and restore and all that I offer and do is reflective of our own empowered wisdom and knowledge, and how being fully in our bodies activates change and healing. i have been walking this journey my whole life and actively creating Native Healing Herbals for over 26 years. Over the last 8 years i have delved deeply into somatics and body work, releasing trapped and stored emotions and stories in our physical, this work has taken me on many journeys and I have incorporated the wisdom and share it in my workshops. Natures Creations floristry was developed for those who are wanting to bring the energy and beauty of Aotearoa into their homes and work-places, I select and arrange stunning natural floral arrangements and love contributing to special events. I take small tour groups - Aotearoa Nature Tours - guiding them through the beautiful far North surroundings, sharing my insights into the spiritual/energetic and physical attributes of our natural habitat, as well as sharing my knowledge of the various traditional medicinal properties and health benefits of our native flora and fauna. AlchemyRising - Womens Workshops arose out of years of working on myself and gathering skills and tools from many different workshops and courses as well as self- created ways to access the best of ourselves, the workshops are an amalgamation of many forms of play, and exploration of self. |
